Coconut Shrimp

  • 1 lb of Black Tiger Shrimp 

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

  • 2 tbs scallions 

  • 2tbs cilantro 

  • Lime

  • Cooking oil (veggie oil)

BATTER 

  • 1 egg

  • Purpose flour

  • onion&garlic powder

  • Old bay seasoning 

  • 1/4 cup of water 

  • Black pepper 


  1. mix all batter ingredients 

  2. Clean and divine shrimp & pat dry 

  3. Drip each shrimp in batter mix and coat with coconut flakes set in refrigerator for 10–15 minutes 

  4. Preheat stove top with cooking grease . Fry shrimp until golden brown


Bang bang sauce 

  • 1/2 cup mayo 

  • 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce 

  • 1tsp Sriracha sauce 

  • Minced garlic clove

  • 1tbs lime juice 

  • Lime zest 

  

Dip shrimp & enjoy
